Comments:
Operated the same portable QRP setup I used on Field Day,
minus the friendly fire from my own HT: KX3 and PX3 at
5 watts, inverted-vee fan dipole for 40M and 20M suspended
25 feet up in a tree with 25 feet of coax, for most of the
session anyway. Due to poor anchoring, my antenna fell down
while I was transmitting my exchange to N0AX, pretty much
right on top of me. By the time my state was sent, I was
like a meatball in a big pile of spaghetti. It was easy
enough to hoist it back up since nothing got tangled, and
nothing got hit by the heavy center insulator balun.
Tried to run a few times, but no callers and only one weak
hit on RBN. Thanks for the QSOs!
