Comments:
30 QSOs Day 1, 70 QSOs Day 2 with much better band opening Sunday into my
southeastern W1 area. Good activity on CW -- 82% of my contacts. P/T effort...
missed some good operating time in morning, early afternoons. Only DX: C6A.
PV8 was briefly heard in noise. Good sigs from rarely-heard-recently EL49 (New
Orleans-area) and surrounding grids.
New annoying constant S-5 level (on 6m band) local noise a problem here when
listening for weak stations.
Icom 706 @ approx 70w to 88' doublet up 40' or 135' OCF dipole up 30'.
Occasional use of 5-band Hexbeam (10-20m) as rotatable RX ant.
