Comments:
Saturday was my 50th reunion at MIT, so I couldn't operate until
Sunday morning. From 9 AM Sunday until 11 PM I was able to put about
9 hours into the contest. 6M was as open as in any contest I can
remember. The E-cloud hop started in the middle of EM and drifted
north to the middle of EN as usual, and then disappeared.
But Wait -- there is more! It opened again to the top of EL
and the bottom of EM. In fact, 6M took so much of my time that
I really didn't spend enough time on 2M and 70cm.
I finally put my 432 yagi up on the roof last week and it worked
as well as the 2M yagi. I also learned a lot about how narrow
an 18 element yagi can be!
This was the 20th year I have operated this contest and it proved
to be my 2nd best score.
