Comments:
Thank you to Tariq for allowing me to come to New York to operate his fine
station and for the hospitality during our days here. This could have been
done remotely but my wife came with me and we are going to go to the City for a
couple days. Thanks to Scott, WU2X, for all his help in making sure everything
worked to perfection.
The conditions were pretty good for most of the first day. I had 1950 contacts
in the first 18 hours of operation and only 750 in the second 18 hours. I think
I was keeping up with the competition after the first day. The second day was
not good at all. I resorted to trying run USA when the bands would normally be
wide open to Europe.
Congratulations to all those who put in a full effort and thanks for the
contacts.
