What a mess!
I normally start on 20 and work some EU stations. Saw NOTHING on my
panadapter! Went to 40 and worked a few. I guess everyone was on 80/160.
Putzed around on 40 and then went back to 20. Worked a few and then it all
turned to crap. I had a DXpedition show up below me and was listening up. Not
knowing this, I was trying to work the pee weak stations trying to work him! I
worked a few of the regulars thru this 'morass' but took a while for me to
catch on. The panadapter showed stations all around me, but nothing much
up/down the band.
Disgusted, I went back to 40 and finished there.
My apologies to my friends in EU that I regularly work, between rig issues and
band issues, it was a mess.
Steve, NR4M
