Comments:
Unbelievably poor conditions as everyone has noted. Lots of weird conditions.
Was very difficult to run on 40 and 20. Would try to run with not much return
on that investment from EU (had lots of Ws & Ks calling though :) Went to
S&P and could work EU no problem. 80 & 160 were fairly good and very
little noise.
Had AA4GA here for the first time and was a nice addition, fitting in with the
group very well. Twisted Ralph, K1ZZI's arm to operate phone but was great
having him here as always. Thanks to Mike, N9DFD for all the help with the
Flexs. Had one Maestro shut down on us 3 times during the night, losing the
connection to the network. It was hard wired and not using Wi-Fi so have to
figure what caused that. Rebooted and all was well in each instance. Very
happy with the Flex 6700 radios for contesting and W3JK antennas still
performing well in the new installation.
Thanks to Brian, N4OO for coming, though he has a lot to juggle right now.
Very happy to have Dennis, K4NV and N4LR actively participating with the group
and great contributors.
Thanks to everyone for participating, making this a fun contest. See you in
WPX.
73'...Fred, WW4LL
