Comments:
Ugh!
It just doesn't feel right when the jump ball obliterates my fill query so
I lose a QSO because I can't correct the info, which means the other station
loses a QSO, but the station that caused the problem most likely gets two
QSOs.
It happened too often this time around. I had to send the equivalent of
"STELLA!!!" on 80 to ensure a clear shot for fills which were too
often necessary. Apologies to those I could not pull through.
Lousy conditions, as experienced from this QTH, didn't help matters. 20 was
good for about 30 minutes, 40 was so-so, and 80 simply wiped out by campus
noise here.
Maybe I am just getting old... oh, wait, I am!
Nice to be called by HI8A for QSO number 1. I wish someone hadn't stepped on
his name.
Kudos to the smooth, fast, clean operators out there. Impressive!
73,
David N6AN
