Comments:
Field Day style operation again...all antennas raised on Friday.
TX: 1/4 wave balloon-lifted vertical (mostly vertical!) over pre-fab radial
field
RX: 4-square, Beverages NE and WNW
Generator power
Tranquil wx all weekend allowed the balloon to stay up and the TX wire to not
take on too much tilt. The WNW Beverage is new for us and really helped bring
in the lighter west coast signals.
Not a lot of DX the first night, apart from Caribbean/SA. A few EU here and
there but nothing too exciting. Wkd 5 JAs in a 6 minute burst but no more.
Second night was much better to EU with a wonderful run in the 06Z hour.
On the home front, missed DC, NS, and the usual suspects in the far north. Also
missed KL7.
CU in the SSB part.
