W5ON @ K5GO
Lester-K5LG, and myself-John-KM5PS used the Contest Station of Stan-K5GO for
this contest. We had a great time this year and great runs the first night. We
stayed busy until midnight as usual and then the rates started to fall off. We
hadn't planned on a second night of operation but we had a good score going, so
we operated the second night and gained several new countries and a few Ve
sections. The only US section not gotten was DC. I did work a DC station, but
the person sent MDC so I logged it as MD, and then forgot the call to change it
to DC due to a good run going. Need to keep better notes. Les and I would like
to thank Stan for letting us use his station this year. Looking forward to the
next contest.
