Thirty one (31) of thirty three (33) QSOs were MSK144 meteorscatter, one (1)
VE9CB was SSB and (1) VE9AA was CW. Meteorscatter allows this corner of the
continent to at least participate in the January VHF. Tropo, Es and reachable
population centers are typically absent.
Thanks for the QSOs. The WSJT-X Suite of weak signal programs and especially
MSK144 for meteors is changing VHF contesting in a big way. Watch for JT9H to
be used for non-durable very weak Es in June and July contests.
