Comments:
Started off on 20 with the usual strange condx these days. Lots of activity, and
running was easy with good rate. Switched to 40 after a 2 hour break from 5-7pm
for dinner. Forty started slow, but again lots of activity made for very good
runs. Have not done a phone test in awhile cause of the qrm. This time I just
went high in the band where it was clearer and ran easily. Believe it or not,
after hundreds of contests I finally used headphones with a mic, (gift from
Santa) and a foot switch....so much easier. I know, I know. Typical NAQP phone
with much time spent working the yellow highlighted calls and all the patience
required for that. The noise on 80 meters (S9 plus) made contacts there almost
impossible. Shame cause it probably would have yielded easily another few
hundred....sigh.
