Comments:
My strategy went down the drain. I started late to take advantage of the low
bands. It seemed to work as there was no 10 meter action as expected.
At 7PM, with five hours to go, I switched to 80, expecting to have great runs.
My wife walks in and informs me that I have to make a 100 mile round trip to
help out someone. It was unavoidable. AARRRGH! I got back about 2 1/2 hours
later to find 40, 80 & 160 were in July like condition! Should have had a
thousand Q's for the team...sorry!
Thanks for all the Q's...who would have believed the bands could be so noisy in
January. Hope it's better by next weekend!
