Comments:
Well, that was disappointing. In spite of a little run on 20, I just ran out of
stations to work. Interesting echos on 20, worked N5ZO on backscatter. Briefly
interupped by a curious park ranger, who I should have tipped off first. (She
thought the bottom of the fishing pole was illegally buried in the ground. She
probably didn't notice fhe fishing line in the mesquite.) It was a whole lot
warmer than at 13Z, but the sun made it very hard to read the netbook screen.
Sorry, the ancient netbook stutters a bit sending CW.
Winds are forecast to come up tonight, so I'll have to take down the antenna in
the dark at 04Z. At least the moon is still almost full.
See you at 03Z!
