Comments:
We dedicate this one to our friend Ogy LZ2PO who suddenly passed away in January
2016. Ogy was one of our 20m band operators. Great friend and contester !
We can hardly remember condx being that poor in our contesting careers.
In spite of this our ops on 20m and 80m managed to make more QSOs than were
made in 2015 !
On Saturday USA big guns sigs were way down in the noise and situation improved
a bit on Sunday.
On top band and on 80m there were a lot of statics.
I called HS0ZAR on 160m for over 40 minutes and they still kept working JAs and
some USA, not paying much attn to EU. Excellent split run by 8Q7DV guys and
management of the pile up. Called BA4TB for over 30 min with no luck around
14.00 Z. He came back later just after 17.00 Z to my CQ :-). Double CW5W mult
some 10 min before the end of the contest and EX8M mult in 23.59 on top band!
Biggest trill - when 3B9HA answered my CQ with a huge signal.
Worked 5H1WW easily before the contest and never heard them later during the
contest on 160 ?
160m - LZ2CJ, LZ2WO (part time LZ1ZD and LZ2UU too )
80m - LZ1PM, LZ1UQ
40m - LZ5FF(IZ2GRG), LZ3XX, LZ2HQ
20m - LZ1ZD,LZ3FM,LZ1PJ
15m - LZ3UM,LZ1BJ,LZ1ANA
10m - LZ2UU, LZ2HQ
Number of technical problems, but all finally finished well.
Another CQWW CW went in history. See you all in WPX 2017.
