Comments:
Big thanks to my good pal John, W6JZH, who as always was a wonderful host!
Due to some family issues lately, it wasn't in the cards for me to do CQWW CW
from anywhere as a planned effort, and John was gracious enough to allow me to
use the station at the last minute. As John said, "see what you can do
from a city lot in a noisy neighborhood, and have fun!". Those were my
words to live by this weekend. Too bad old Sol had other ideas. Conditions were
terrible.
Highlights were working JT5DX on 40M at sunset (shortpath!) with enormous
signals. The last hour on 40 was fun too with some good mults as well. Another
highlight was sleeping both nights! I also did a fair amount of DXing and
looking for odd paths - love that!
