Comments:
Started out as "U" category but after a few Qs decided to switch and
do this one old school as unassisted high power. With the flux being lower this
year 10M never was a factor, while 15M was filled with waves of QSB as if you
were listening to the ocean. The 20M yagi and 80M Inv Vee were both great
performers this year. I planned my off times and was up early Sunday with great
results on 20M.
Suddenly around 11AM I felt very drained and stopped to take a break. I didn't
return until later in the afternoon and even then only for a hour or so.
Deciding to stop early wasn't what I had planned months ago but when your dead
tired it pays to punt, put your feet up and relax watching the NFL. GO
STEELERS!
Used an IC746 driving an AL-80B to 700W. Monobanders on 10, 15, and 20. Inv
Vees on 40 & 80 with a flat top dipole on 40 that really worked well. See
you next week in CQ WW DX CW!
