Comments:
Great propagation tonight - made up for my QLF on the straight key. I intended
to use my old Vibroplex bug, but the pivot was too sticky and no time to
disassemble and re-lube, and the springs lost their sproing. Had to hold the
straight key with left hand while sending with the right because the key is not
mounted on anything. Strong signals tonight from many stations, and nice to
work Gary, K8NYG and hear Mike, VE9AA back again. I could get used to logging
on a PostIt note a la DanWA - no RFI locking up the PostIt note on 160 meters -
same can't be said for the logging computer! Many thanks for the straight key
fun and your patience, 73 MikeNH
