Comments:
As always, thanks to John N3HBX for the use of The Farm, and to Mark KD4D for
help with setup.
I knew I was in trouble when N1MM refused to log my first contact saying 'Only
DL Calls allowed'. After a 15-minute argument with the logger and several
reboots that problem went away, but other connectivity, configuration and
internet issues surfaced and I waved the White Flag. Hugely disappointed
since WAG was a fun 24 hours last year. I guess after 2 years of WRTC
qualifying events MR. Murphy was bound to catch me eventually.
Instead, I took my 10-year old son Connor to his hockey game and he scored two
assists, so the weekend was not a total loss. Also made some QSO's on Sunday
morning using my club call K3PRC.
Oh well - as Andy N2NT said after IARU, like a bad golf shot 'it will probably
make the other guys happy'.
See you next weekend
Ken
