Comments:
Lots of fun. Sure wish the TN stations would have stayed on the higher bands
longer. I missed a lot of stations because they had moved from 20 to 40 and
from 40 to 80 as much as an hour or two before 20 closed and 40 opened, and
before even the best signals could be copied on 80. If eastern states want west
coast participation in these events, in-state stations need to pay more
attention to the higher bands.
Performance of W4NZ and K4ZGB in their mobiles was impressive -- I worked both
Ted and Tom on 40M before I could even hear fixed stations on 40, and Tom on 80
before I could work fixed stations on that band! And all the mobiles had great
ears.
