Comments:
Well I had planned on operating this contest as V31VP, but given what Hurricane
Earl did to Belize, I opted to postpone my trip down south until October,
hopefully V31VP will be on for the SSB Sprint.
Wished I could have mustered more than 6h18m operating time, but had other
things on the weekend agenda. 10m was a pleasant surprise. Found the band was
open from down here in Texas and successfully moved a number of stations from 15
to 10. A big thanks to W4OC in SC who let me move and work him on 10, 15, 20 and
40m in the space of 2 minutes. I was able to work 3 states on all bands 160-10:
CO, IL & IN.
Rig: TS-590 Antennas: Mosley PRO-67B @ 63 ft, 40m vertical, 80m Inverted Vee,
shunt fed tower for 160m.
