Comments:
Thanks to the propagation powers! The band was open quite nicely from
my 'favorite' Grid Corner and kept me occupied for the full four hours
of the contest period.
Yes, that total of path lengths, 77209 km, is correct (or pretty darn
close). 61 of my QSOs were over paths longer than 800 km (500 miles);
the paths of the remaining QSOs were all less than 160 km (100 miles).
49 different calls in the log, only one other rover. Caught 3 local
stations and 2 distant stations from all 4 of my grids. Contacts were
completed with another 6 stations (all 'distant') from 3 of my grids.
19 overall different Grid Locators were contacted, with 17 from EN62
being the most from any of the 4 grids I visited.
Contacts were completed with 11 U.S. states and 3 Canadian provinces.
Mults total is based on 'classic' Rover scoring; count mults separately
from each grid-4 visited and add them up. Five unique grids worked.
Breakdown by Grid-4s I visited:
Grid Qs Ms
EN51 24 8
EN52 19 10
EN61 18 11
EN62 33 17
Tot. 94 46 = 4324
Total DX - 77209 km
