Comments:
Elecraft K3/100 @ 5 Watts to F12 C3 @64 feet.
Lost AC Power mains at 1300Z after 1 hour of operation, power back and stable 3
hours later. Probably missed the best propagation hours for QRP station. Total
of 4 hours of hard work, ending early because Mother Nature delivered us a band
of severe thunderstorms at 2300Z ... ending my participation effectively.
The lower propagation conditions and high solar noise level suggests that QRP
might not be competitive from the SW USA during this phase of the solar cycle
and "electrified" surface weather.
80% of contacts were USA, could hear the DX fine and the DX could not hear the
5-watts except for the really good stations with good operators and better than
average station configurations.
