Comments:
Two bands only. I found the high SWR problem I've been experiencing on 20m:
AV640 20m assembly had a loose nut--it was a factory assembled assembly--buyer
beware!. 20m was solid 1.1:1 all CWT. My triplexer is off at Dunestar, so had
the 2nd radio hardwired to the 40m inv vee antenna. Am hearing some blow-by
(spill-over?) from 40m on 20m. I'm going to make a stub to cut down on the
interference. Also, may move the 40m inv vee farther away from the AV640
vertical. I'm sure that will help a bit.
Lots of weak, weak signals. Thanks for sticking with me guys and finally
pulling you through.
Congratulations to the new CWOps members AND to the non-member visitors.
Welcome, y'all!
Great fun 73 de Dale, KG5U
