Comments:
A big thank you to Ken K6MR for responding to my suggestion to organize a team.
It was fun competing along with fellow NSr's.
Gardener friends of my XYL hosted an early birthday party for her starting 1
hour before the sprint, at a local Brew-Pub, so not to be missed. By taking
some flowers, NOT picked from her garden but rather bought, it was ok to leave
a little early, so was able to put in three rather than the two promised hours.
Also important to be nice, as we are about to install a rather large tower and
antennas near the house.
Sprints being always a struggle on low power, this one was no exception, plus
the jeopardy of reduced time. All bands seems equally poor, and many
multipliers were no-shows at least for me. A little frustrating to have so few
stations in the 7090 and up region, 3590 and up on 80m.
