Comments:
Finally stopped logging with CT-DOS; used N1MM+, but only for logging. Still
used CT-DOS for DVK, and you don't need computer controlled radio in this one.
Just a couple of hours Saturday night. 30 states, Ontario, 6Y, and KP2. Did
not expect to hear any better DX (except more Canada). Then, I heard a weak
answer to my CQ -- a YV1, calling his own CQ. Couldn't get him, so I moved.
But I did not hear anybody else call him.
Had what I think is my first 5-QSO minute, but newness did not seem to boost
rate as much as in ARRL 160M CW. I think nobody spotted me.
That CQ with the YV1 was on 1804. I guess I was not supposed to be there, but
lots of people answered my CQ and nobody suggested that I should QSY. I had
looked high and low for an un-crowded place. Hah! 1804 was a spot ABOVE the
lower CQers.
