Comments:
It has been several years since I have participated in this contest. I use
N1MM+ but in previous contests with serial numbers I would occasionally
experience problems with the wrong serno being sent as opposed to what was
logged or the ESM feature not working properly. So I wanted to test the latest
software version to see how it worked.
I am pleased to report that I had no problems with sending or receiving serial
numbers and ESM worked flawlessly!
Conditions were so-so, with 10M being non-existent. 15M was the best band and
I ran the radios on both 15 & 20M for a while but 20M conditions were noisy
and weak here for most of the day. 40M usually is my best band but not this
year. I finished up working both 40 & 80M and I called it quits around 8PM
local time.
