Comments:
It seems since I have retired that I no longer have time to make a full-time
committment to any contest.Obviously, the downside of retirement is the loss of
statutory holidays, weekends off; well you know the drill. To be quite honest my
aging body no longer allows me to sit for long periods in 'the chair'. All that
aside, I still enjoy bursts of activity which is exactly what this effort was.
It's always nice to see old familiar calls which have populated my contest logs
many times. One of those was W0LSD, who contacted me on every band, including my
only 10M Q. Thanks, Ken. On the other side of the coin, I worked only one
Canadian call area (VE3) and was completely shutout in VK/JA land.Sporadic
operations tend to leave you short on continents, but I really expected to work
Africa. All that aside, it was fun as always; thanks to the BARTG group for the
test.73,Bill
