Comments:
Wasn't sure how long I would be able to work this one as I had some "honey
do's" to take some time away. But did manage a little over 5 hours. I
missed the prime hours for 40, 20, and 15 but has a great time on 80 later on.
Even made a few on 160. I was pleased to get many un-solicited "great
signal" reports as well. I usually s tart on 10 meters but this time it
was very thin and I didn't stay there long. I dropped to 15 and it still
wasn't really what I'm used to. Then it was time to pick up spouse and when I
got home, I went to 40 and finally 80 after dark. Now it seemed to be hopping.
Time our for dinner and some PBS with wife, and back to 80 and 160 for the
duration. At about 12:30 AM, I started hitting the wrong buttons, and it was
time to quit which I did with about 10 minutes to go. Bill to wife,
"Honey, I was off to bed before 1:00!"
