Comments:
I planned to operated seriously and full-time, but it did not work out that way.
I stayed up the night before to try to catch ZL9A on CW for ATNO #336 (on CW),
as they were planning to leave the island imminently. No Joy working them on CW
(never heard them on CW during their entire stay), and I had no time to catch a
little sleep before the contest began.
I started the contest with computer problems, a severe headache, and sleep
deprivation. I operated for ~3 hours, mostly S&P since I could not get a
run started. I then decided that I needed to go nap and kill the pain in my
head.
When I awoke and got back in the chair, 40 was long and hopeless, so I put in
time on 160 and 80 where I was able to sustain meager runs. When I finally got
back to 40, it was still long, but I got a few QSOs and multipliers.
Sorry to the other members of NCC/MRRC Team #1 for the tiny score.
I'm looking forward to getting back at PJ2T next week, where generating a run
is never a problem!
