Comments:
This was one of three operations from W6YX Stanford University
organized by N6DE to generate maximum total points for the NCCC.
We finished setup Saturday morning a few minutes into the contest.
All three setups shared the antennas and bands, and we had some
interference that we worked around. K6UFO was the "low power"
operation with only 500 to 800 watts. The other stations were
setup for legal limit but graciously lowered their power when
needed to reduce band noise.
We worked endless USA stations - Thanks! New DX was rarely spotted
and sometimes heard and worked. The RTTY Skimmers did a great
job filling the bandmaps. Moderate rate all Saturday afternoon and
evening. We made Worked All States on Saturday. Other highlights
were a number ZS's calling in. A good hour as "fresh meat" on 80m
before stopping at local Midnight on Saturday. Sunday morning
brought some Pacific DX on 40m, and then two dozen more
Europeans on 20m. Then our first time on 10m for two good hours,
followed by another stroll on ecah of 15m and 20m to the end.
