First contest with new FTdx3000 just purchased before Christmas. Yaesu manual
not very complete on setup with peripherals. After internet research, I learned
how to use the built-in USB interface to setup for FSK, internal soundcard and
radio control. The N1MM site was much help also. It all worked like a champ!
This radio makes RTTY the easiest mode to run for a contest.
I was beginning to think I was only station in MI, it was the 38th state I
worked! Very little DX, only two stations worked in EU, and the rest were
Central/South America and Caribbean.
