Comments:
Well, I was hoping for more tonight. But, I guess the noise (QRN) was just too
high for me to hear several of you responding to my CQ. Plus, I noticed that I
was having to call some regular stations multiple times.
But 'twas much fun, anyway. Huge thanks to the great DX stations I got to work
on 40m: the usual, steady fist of Bert, F6HKA; Dan, OK1DIG; and Larry, UA6HZ
(huge kudos to Larry for sticking with me while I tried pulling out his entire
call through the heavy QRN here!).
Here's hoping all you stellar friends have a fantastic weekend and get rested
up for CWT next week, after the time change.
Oh, and I think another very dear friend from here in Mississippi will be
jumping onto the 0300z run next week. Listen for Mike, K5XU, from Jackson, MS.
He is a super CW operator and, as a blind ham, is the Director of the Radio
Reader Service for MS Public Broadcasting. So, I hope y'all will welcome my
long-time friend with open arms (or receivers, as the case may be).
73,
--Dr. Larry S. Anderson, WB5EIN #1327
