Comments:
This is my first DX contest from the new QTH. Used a TH7DX at 20 feet above the
ground (antennas are a work in progress)...I miss my monobanders! The tower
is a US Tower rotary pole but no rotor yet...long story. So, had to run 100
meters and turn the pole and antenna with a pipe wrench to find the right
azimuth. I must have run a few KM and lost lots of operating time. Used a
SteppIR on 80/40 with 2 radials per band. I was unable to do any antenna work
for the last 2 months due to an injury which limited my mobility. The leg brace
was better than surgery! I am pleased with the effort and score. DX contesting
from the Pacific Northwest is challenging.
