Comments:
Man, that noise on 40m here was atrocious, so I really apologize to all of you
who I heard calling, but I just couldn't pull you out of my noise. Not your
problem; it was mine, instead. So, please accept my apology.
It was fun working some new and non-members today. KI4MZC, John, in GA. K3WJV,
Bill, 1465. K9WX, Tim, 1462. N5PHT, Gary, 1489. K9IBM, Dan, WI. KB3ML, Paul,
PA. Our usual K8NYG, Gary, WV. W5YDM, Bob, TX.
And, no matter how hard I try, I just cannot seem to overcome the stiff
competition from my cross-town rival, Joe Moffatt, AB5OR! Y'all should quit
answering him for awhile and give my little peanut whistle station a chance to
sneak up close enough to him that I can see his dust with my powerful
binoculars. That dude had 76/63 4788 this morning! DAWG! I guess I need to
scare the roosters off my antenna before CWT starts so I can creep up on Joe.
(At least, we have lots of chicken to eat around here after that RF gets into
the neighbor's rooster flock! Yummm.)
Fellas, I truly thank y'all for all the camaraderie that I enjoy so much on
CWT. Seriously, I don't pay too much attention to scores, because it's so much
fun working y'all. I have to ward off the temptation to stop and chat when I
hear y'all on. Thanks!
