Comments:
10 mins before fray heard a weak KH6CJJ off back of the beam on 15m . while we
worked Kent came up to S-7+. When we finished, a huge pileup materialized. 8
mins in on 15, W9RE was heard calling CQ at S9+30, a huge signal for the
FT-1000MP MKV's stingy meter.
20 was a horrible slog . kept getting beat by K6GHA and received few answers to
CQ's, although the end result was OK the rate was low. 40m was another story
altogether with a satisfying run of 9 qsos in under 3 mins.
80 meters had surprisingly good conditions in full sunshine. W9RE and N8AV had
good signals, as did KW8N, but couldn't get a response from Bob, thereby missing
the chance for a 4-bander. Just plain forgot 160.
Another week of good fun.
