Antennas : 80m horizontal loop and 160m wire vertical
Soapbox : Of course, the bands were awful, but the weather outside
was beautiful, so it was hard to stay at the radio until late at night.
On the brighter side, that was a great opportunity to play with my new 160m
vertical. At one point I heard Hawaii on 40, but he didn't hear me. I
switched to the big vertical, tuned up, and the signal to noise got better.
He answered my next call.
