Comments:
Horrible band conditions mid afternoon when I started, then finally had to shut
down due to lightening in the area. Only got a half hour of operating time in,
in the afternoon. Was hoping for more in this time slot, but mother nature had
other plans. Didn't make it back to the chair until after dinner, but band
conditions on 40 and 80 were much better then 20 earlier. No joy at all on 10
and 15. Did get a chance to run the bands with Jim, KE0L. 30 SMC in log along
with 20 VA! Just wish conditions would have been better early on and I didn't
have to QRT due to storms in area. Was hoping for 6-7 hours in chair. Did get a
couple of sporadic runs in on 80m late. Had fun.
K3S 100 watts to 2 element tribander @ 37', 80m OCF dipole at 35' and short
160m half sloper at 35'.
