I had a raging head cold throughout,and a 5 hour thunderstorm system blew away
prime late-afternoon early-evening ops. All in all, not the best of times.
K5VIP took a hand at the station for a bit -- he's not used to a fully
integrated contest op/logging program and it took him two or three QSOs to get
the handle. Get the handle he did in fine form.
This is one of my all-time favorite events -- next time we must be healthy for
