Comments:
Very poor condx with heavy QRN and not many stations copyable in the early hours
of the contest. Only had 500 Q's in the first 7 hours. At that point, had to
shut down due to heavy thunderstorm. Once the storm passed, the QRN cleared
up, and propatation got much better. From that point, on the the contest was a
contest, but up until then, it was sheer gruntwork!
The HQ stations were everywhere, and it seemed like there were more of them I
ever remember in the past. Kudos to all the HQ organizers!
Also, kudos to all the good ops. Only complaint is about the occasional
stations with heavy key clicks.
