Comments:
Tonight I used the name of one of Ohio's more famous citizens. He does have a
bit more name recognition than when I did it once about ten years ago in an SSB
NAQP, and I had to spell it out. I think only one name repeat tonight, and
several ops who got the joke.
Few loud signals on 20/15, and I usually got beat out when I did call one. Plus
the usual cussing at N1MM which wanted to fill in the call of the last guy on
the particular frequency I happened to be on. Plus I guessed the wrong NS, and
got the dupes allowed version. No dupes made, but had to pause to figure out
what was wrong.
When 80 got going my wife comes downstairs with our daughter face timing from
NJ, and wondering why I wasn't watching the Cavaliers come back. As it turns
out the NS was about a hour too short. The Cavs made up about 10 points during
the contest, but after if finished they blew all that and more.
