Comments:
Had fun with all my broken antennas .... unfortunately none of my rotors are
working ...just back from Florida .. 2 weeks ago ... project engineer(VO1MP)
sez three new rotor systems required... Hopefully this will be done over the
summer ... my two working beams fixed north east.. so I guess I missed quite a
few
North American PXs .... only 30 percent of my Qs with North America ...no yagi
working on 10 so slung up a dipole and managed 21 mults mainly from South
America, ..miscalculated my time and actually only operated about 32 hours
..... the one hour rule had me pull a couple of 45 and 55 minute breaks... bit
too much S&P ...... fun and games.... my newly factory aligned and upgraded
K3 was so quiet that occasionally when I encountered a run of very weak callers
...I thought the receiver was defective ... it actually forced me to take a
quick excursion from the Run frequency to find a loud signal .. to make sure
the rig WAS working...... 250 filter worked like a charm........
Fun and.. WPX is always a laid back contest ... free of QSYs and moving mults.
Hopefully
