Comments:
Interesting condx. Had one power blink on Sat mid-day during a break. Lots of
QRN Sat, even on 20 and 15. My SE TH3 got waterlogged on Sunday and wouldn't
work on 15 for a few hours, came back later, not a big deal. The big stations
were loud all weekend but i seemed to be missing a couple layers. Best rate
for me was on 40, should have spent more time there. Band stayed open later
than i expected Friday night, Sat night I went to 20 for a bit and found no one
i hadn't worked so decided to go to bed early - confident that 15 would be
better on Sunday than it had been on Sat - that didn't work, best hour on
Sunday was 40.
Biggest thrill was the huge opening over the pole on 15 Saturday evening. Got
WAC (exc. ANT) in 5 min beaming north. It was a lot of fun but no real volume.
Same opening Sunday evening with a few more JA and a few less SE Asia. The EU
stations were very, very loud - but i had worked pretty much all of them that I
heard earlier.
Lots of activity - thanks for all the contacts! Congrats to N5AW on an
absolutely super LP score!
