K3 / 2K-FA / N1MM+ / GAP Challenger vertical dipole
WPX CW not on Memorial Day weekend! Met my goal of 1M points Sat evening,
radio off and up at 0600 to go to work on Sunday :(
I only have HOA approval for the yagi in the "winter", so had to make
do
with the vertical only. It was tough to work some of the East coast mults
when they were beaming EU. Not much summertime JA on 15/20. 10M was bad.
It would be interesting to know if W/K participation was higher in this
non-Memorial Day year. I still don't understand why WPX can't be held in
early May each year.
