Comments:
Shoot! Where did the condx go? Noisy here...and had a very tough time racking
up Qs. Oh yeah, it's the poor operator on this end. That's right!
But, what fun it was to get on 15 and hear all the European friends. I kinda
lost track that we were in a contest...and I just enjoyed listening to the
various EUs who were on CWT and making good, steady contacts. I worked some
EUs I'd not heard before, so many thanks to: F6HKA (old solid friend, Bert);
EA8OM (Heijo, sporting that fancy callsign); PA4N; F5IN (thanks for being
there, Mike--you're such a grand op!); SM6FKF; G3WGN; PA3DBS; F5MNK; AL9A (yep,
you're DX, aren't you Gary?); SI5Y; and finishing up with IK0IXI.
I was sweating bullets, because my cross-town buddy (I try to call him nice
names so he won't totally stomp me in these contests -- he's such a sharp
operator that I need to begin the contest about 1.5 hours earlier and go about
1.5 hours later. Oh yeah, the rules prohibit that, don't they? But, I still
need extra time to even see his dust!) was smashing me YET AGAIN! What do I
have to do to hang in there with Joe? I know -- y'all just quit answering his
CQs. Yep, that'll do it!
See y'all at 0300Z, I hope. Thanks for the afternoon fun.
73,
