Comments:

Condx not all that great on the lowbands (OH/LA/SM/OZ barely a whisper on 80 and
ESP on Topband). When I asked some LA/OH/SM friends about 160m, the reply was
something like "Really, you want WHAT??? - You must be joking...!!!!!)

Upper bands pretty good except that 10m was in and out like a yo-yo here both
days. It died early on Saturday (15z) and did not open well until after 15z
here on Sunday. There is a very identifiable "feel" to 10m when it
is only open well to the Slavic countries and into Russia and not into Western
Europe and it had that "sound" this weekend much of the time.

Most of the OH/LA/SM boys commented that the aurora was killing them when I
asked and this far North in NA we had a taste of that - it is probably straight
down from here on 10. The biggest difference between my score of last year and
this was definitely on 10m - "there's no meters like 10 meters" and
when it is gone, so too are the really great scores.

Thanks to all who called.
