Condx were actually pretty awful here. The band was up & down all weekend
where condx might be great for 20 minutes and then the band would collapse for
the next hour or so. Add in the short QSB cycle and it turned out to be quite
a slog here.
I'm trying to figure out just what CQ magazine actually does to
"sponsor" this contest. Seems like all the scoring and
administrative activities are done by volunteers. CQ hasn't even bothered to
provide a ream of certificate paper so the volunteers can print certificates
for last years winners. I believe that plaques & trophies are sponsored by
external organizations. Might as well be the 3830scores.com WW 160 Contest...
