Comments:
Last QSO number sent was 60, but managed to skip a few numbers with N1MM as I
QLF'd back and forth between radios. Nil on 20, but 40 was very hot. 80M seemed
a bit off, although I finally managed to work DanWa. Earlier this week, I put up
a double half delta loop for receive on the low bands pointed east along with a
K9AY loop pointed west. I felt like I was hearing east coasters much better on
top band with the double-delta tonight. West coast may have been marginally
better copy on the K9AY vs the beverage. For some reason, my short
dual-direction beverages (270 ft) don't work very well as K4BAI likes to point
out from time to time. We will get a better chance to test the double delta
this weekend on top band in the NAQP. See you all there. 73 Randy/Ken K0EU
