Comments:
Spent over an hour Sat night trying to work 10 contacts on 40m. EVery time I
transmitted the USB ports would go nuts and lock up computer, radio, keyer,
everything....even @ 15watts of goo. Gave up in Frustration.
Turned out it was the new 24" LCD I had installed in the shack. Even
after many ferrites, same thing. No sweat, swap in another monitor, not as
nice or as large. Same issue.
The VGA port on the laptop is right beside com1 (USB, most everything runs on
it)
BLAST !
BAck to just the laptop screen and ran a few stations on 10m after snowblowing
the driveway (just before the freezing rain started).
Gave up way too early and way too easily. Hope other VE9's were around.
Cheers,
Mike VE9AA IC7410 & A3S, N1MM+
