Comments:
This was my first contest this fall/winter due to many conflicts involving
family and other priorities. Operation in this one was QRP as always, but
officially is "multi-op" since my unlicensed daughter, Kylee, made
all the contacts while I logged and did the tuning. We just had a little over 2
hours late on Sunday afternoon to play, but took advantage of the decent
propagation to let her get a feel of operating in a contest.
Kylee has sat in on many of my contest operations in the past, and has made
quite a few casual contacts, but this was her first time at contest pace. She
really appreciated everyone that took an extra few seconds to say "you're
doing a great job" and/or to ask her age and name. Thanks everybody! And
I agree: she did a good job and hopefully she'll get her license soon and be
contesting herself single op!
Thanks again to everybody for coming back to the young female voice signing
ND0C!
73,
Randy, ND0C
