Thanks for driving along with me on the way home. Hank W6SX was an honest S9 on
15m, but just as I drove under some major HV lines (s9+40/60dB QRN) he faded
out. Luckily he kept with me and I was able to complete as I drove further away
from the lines. Thanks Hank !
The K8FF Mini paddles continue to misbehave, so I started during this mornings
session(while stationary) to program in 3 msg's to the 857D'\s memory but never
used them. At home I send by computer using N1MM, but in the car it has always
been fun to send by hand (whether parked or driving). I really am not that
much of a LID, though I will admit to an occasional blunder if shifting gears
or hitting the proverbial potholes that are so prevalent on VE9 rural roads !!
hi.
I expect my new N3ZN MiniMITE's probably around Hallowe'en.
Dit dit,
Mike VE9AA.......VE9AA/m
